We have several programs including a full time school, camps, and a free math circle. To learn more about what makes us different, please read the program overview that interests you below, or stop by our information session on Sunday, January 12 or Thursday, January 16 to learn more about us.

Junior Kindergarten through 6th Grade Day School Program

Please click here for details about the tuition and schedule. Our teacher:student ratio is 1:8 or better, and much of the instruction is 1:1, which translates well if/when we have to quarantine one or all students. We believe that at the center of the school’s educational model, there need to be the five core subjects. They need to be deep and thorough, and that the knowledge being learned in those cores is generalized through cross-disciplinary projects in order to achieve mastery. In order to provide a well-rounded education, we integrate the arts, a robust social emotional curriculum, and physical activity into the program. Our top priority is your child’s happiness and engagement.

We teach many of our courses in a multi-age environment. In order to teach every child at their academic level, the children travel to the just-right level class (groupings are dynamic), instead of exclusively being with their age peers. Travel is dependent on the child's readiness; the teacher will differentiate in the classroom if the child is negatively affected by the transition.

Our weekly field trip program is 100% outside and gives the students a connection to nature and local history.

Middle and High School

Did you know that qualified students may join our math or robotics teams, without being enrolled at MAGE? Join us for AMC/AIME, ICTM, Calculus League, and beyond.

MAGE Middle and High School is focused on each child’s unique strengths and interests. Much of the teaching is 1:1, but there are also group projects where each student contributes different components based on their unique skills, group labs, and discussions. The purpose of the program is to provide a curated, structured (set at family level based on a common agreement), rigorous, yet relaxed, safe, and nurturing environment for HG-PG students. We provide social engagement with age/intellectual peers along with radical acceleration, if needed. The students in this program choose a mixture of classes through our offerings, which include college-level programing, as well as dual enrollment and college bridging options through local and distance learning universities, as well as DAO and SOHS. We create unique opportunities for mentorship and community service projects and have a plethora of field trips.

Many of our students have long since maxed the NWEA MAP by middle school and so they move on to college testing which then informs instruction. Mentorship and learning advanced study and executive functioning skills are key components of our program. Students are exposed to academics that they normally would not encounter for another 4-6 years or more.

AP Courses currently running for 2023 - the list will expand as needed, but we prefer university-level curriculum instead of just AP. (Elementary-aged students are also allowed into these advanced classes if ready.)
